On 25 May 1967, Celtic defeated Inter Milan 2–1 in Lisbon to become the first British club to lift the European Cup.
Every player on the team was born within 30 miles of Glasgow.
Managed by Jock Stein, the “Lisbon Lions” attacked Inter with fearless style, overturning a defensive Italian side.
It was a victory not just for Celtic, but for attacking football itself.
